The Singleton Escapes gathered 150 South African cultural tastemakers at Nirox Sculpture Park after its successful Namibian retreat. This sensory experience focused on togetherness and the art of slowing down.
Guests were invited to pause and unwind, creating connections through food, art, music, and nature—all embodying The Singleton's "Savor the Single Moment" philosophy.
"We're reshaping how people experience slowing down and living in the moment," said Ifeoma Agu from Diageo. "Through The Singleton, we're creating spaces for pause and celebration that resonate beyond the experience."
Visitors enjoyed a tasting journey of The Singleton's single malts paired with gourmet food: the vibrant 12-Year-Old with citrus and seafood flavors, the spiced 15-Year-Old complementing hearty mains, and the opulent 18-Year-Old alongside decadent desserts.
The immersive day featured a mobile massage lounge for mindfulness and an aromatherapy station where guests created personalized oils mirroring The Singleton's tasting notes.
This event wasn't just a getaway but a celebration of flavor, emotion, and living in the present moment.
