Y, Gauteng's premier youth radio station, is launching its first-ever First Touch Football and Padel Tournament on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Marks Park Sports Club in Johannesburg. This innovative event combines sports competition with entertainment, featuring a 16-team knockout-style 5-a-side football tournament and padel matches from 12-5 PM, followed by a festival atmosphere from 5-10 PM. The football teams will be led by celebrity captains and compete in 20-minute single elimination matches, while the padel portion will include social matches, influencer showdowns, and interactive demos.
The evening entertainment lineup includes performances by Ch'cco, Blxckie, and Tkcreedlion, alongside Y's Club Y honorees, featuring live DJs, food trucks, bars, and brand activations.
