Since we last featured them as an up-and-coming model to watch, Masinda has evolved into quite the renaissance artist - balancing careers as an androgynous model, stylist, content creator, and interior design intern. Let's see what they've been up to lately…

About two years ago, we featured you as one of the fresh faces to watch in the modeling industry. What have you been up to since our last chat? Can you tell us about any exciting projects you've worked on or are currently involved in?

I've been keeping myself super busy lately! Between creating content and managing influencer campaigns, I've had the opportunity to work with some amazing brands like Fenty Beauty, Givenchy, McDonald's, and Crocs. I'm also thrilled to share that I'm currently interning as an interior designer at Casandra Interiors - it's honestly a dream come true for me.

How has the industry received you so far? What are your thoughts on the current conversations around inclusion in the fashion industry?

The industry has been pretty welcoming so far. My work with Avon as one of their earned influencers for nearly a year really opened up a lot of opportunities. But there's still work to be done - the fashion industry needs to embrace more inclusive storytelling and bring in diverse creative voices.

On social media, we've seen you involved in various activities - from philanthropy work and interning with Bob the stylist to shooting spreads for Grootman. Would you say you're diversifying your skills or focusing on specific areas?

As a creative person, I'm definitely exploring different paths and opportunities. I believe in pushing boundaries and trying new things in the creative space.

What does the future hold for Sakhile?

As for what's next? Well, I'll just say this - keep your eyes peeled. There are some exciting things in the works!
