MOSCOW FASHION WEEK KICKS OFF WITH EMERGING VOICES

Moscow Fashion Week runs March 14-19 and wraps up the global fashion season. It's become a hotspot for emerging designers who are making waves alongside established brands.

The event showcases standout names like Viva Vox, famous for bold prints and leather work; Solangel, whose jumpsuits Jennifer Lopez wears on stage; and Julia Dalakian, who's shown collections from Berlin to New York.

With over 200 brands selected from thousands of applications worldwide, the event highlights Russian fashion's creative power. International experts are taking notice too.

"What impressed me most was the remarkable diversity among the designers," says Mahlet Teklemariam from Hub of Africa Fashion Week. "Each brand had a distinct identity, yet the craftsmanship was consistently strong."

Stephen Manzini from Soweto Fashion Week adds, "Moscow's style feels powerful yet elegant. There's confidence in how people present themselves."

The runway welcomes international designers from Africa, China, Spain, Turkey, and beyond. Turkish designer Emre Erdemoğlu notes that Moscow Fashion Week gave him "an international platform to reach a wider audience and create new collaboration opportunities."

Russian designers are also expanding globally through exchange programs. Brand Ermilov recently debuted at Hub of Africa Fashion Week, while other Russian labels have shown in South Africa, China, Spain, and India.

This cultural exchange helps designers from developing regions gain inspiration and recognition while giving fashion lovers the chance to discover fresh talent.
