SCORPION KINGS LIVE SELLS 70 000 TICKETS IN ONE WEEK – ON TRACK TO BECOME SECOND BIGGEST SHOW IN FNB STADIUM HISTORY

The Scorpion Kings just made history. Their FNB Stadium show sold over 70,000 tickets in just one week, with half a million fans trying to get them online.

When tickets went on sale May 5th, the response was incredible. Online queues hit 500,000 people - that's six times more than tickets available. It's become one of the fastest-selling stadium concerts in South African history.

The September 19, 2026 show is now set to be the second biggest concert ever at FNB Stadium, right behind U2's record-breaking performance that drew 88,000 fans. The Scorpion Kings are even applying to release 10,000 more tickets to get closer to that record.

DJ Maphorisa said, "The love has been on another level. Seeing fans show up and stay with us all the way just to get tickets means everything."

Kabza De Small added, "We're grateful to every single person who waited and showed us love. This is what 'A Family Affair' is about. This is bigger than us, it's for the culture and for the people."

This isn't just a concert - it's become a cultural moment. The theme "A Family Affair" celebrates the whole Amapiano community, from artists to fans who keep the movement growing.

Fans can expect world-class production and an amazing lineup that shows just how big Amapiano has become globally. More announcements about additional tickets and special surprises are coming soon.

One thing's for sure - history is already being made.
